Review on Boye Aluminum 10 Crochet Hook by Amber Perez

This Boye hook has a gross paint stain on part of the hook, but luckily it's not in a bad spot. Maybe he was in a bad place where he could get caught and snap the yarn. I've been crocheting for about 46 years and all my smaller sets were bought back then. one by one as I needed them. The old ones are of much better quality: smooth and seamless. With these new, larger aluminum hooks, the stitching is very visible and a bit rough in places. I don't know if that's the reason for the size, but I think it's a quality issue that COULD be solved if Boye were willing to invest in quality. After all, this hook cost a lot more than my old ones at $0.49!
