The hose is not long enough and too thin. Nothing fell out of the dryer lint filter, but I clean it regularly. Outside, I removed the dryer vent cover and tried to use the item but it kept clogging and the hose kept spinning. I had better luck with a conventional suction hose. My vent goes straight down 3 feet and then 6 feet. The hose could not reach me or turn down. They removed the entire vent tube and cleaned it by hand. If your vent pipe is short, it may suit you, otherwise do not buy this item.
