As others have said, this skid plate does not cover the entire trunk of my GMC Acadia. If someone accidentally walks by, this works well enough to prevent them from looking into the trunk. If someone intentionally tries to look in the trunk, they can see about 1 to 2 feet of space on each of the four sides. I'm thinking of sewing long patches of black fabric on all four sides that would fit into the bottom of the car. So no one sees anything in the trunk. I don't have to do this. Easy to install and the fabric is thick enough that no one from the outside of your vehicle can see through.
