First of all I really like the compact KeySmart. It lives up to its name, drowns out jingling keys and takes up little space in your pocket or purse. It even provides extra leverage when turning the key in a hard-to-turn lock. The quick release seemed like a natural accessory for just handing car keys to a mechanic or valet, so I ordered one as soon as I realized the key holder was a good buy. It arrived and I quickly realized my arthritic hands weren't strong enough to turn the release. A pair of pliers did the job, but not many people want to lug around such a heavy tool, especially when the KeySmart's goal is compactness. Make sure you find an easy twist lock. I'm excited to see the result, but I have quick release and pliers handy for now.
