This reel stand does not extend to a 45.5" height, only a maximum of 44". This is indeed false advertising. , the stand cannot reach this height. Very disappointing as I was planning to use it in combination with a 45" high band saw table! I was also disappointed with the overall poor quality: to install the screws connecting all four legs I had to redrill the holes as the existing ones mismatched at all! Last but not least, the bearings on the block I received run very out of true, not at all as advertised ("super smooth in motion"). Overall, I expected this quality from a $20 port freight stand, but that's a lot more money ($100) for very poor quality!I should have followed my instinct and bought from Grizzly instead of falling for Revain's super fast shipping.
