Ordered the 13 + 1 polyester set and it came in a box with the treads rolled up but the 31" x 31" mat folded several times. Because the mat was folded it was impossible for the mat to lay flat. Since I was using these on the basement stairs, I had intended to keep them in place using carpet tape. Strategically placed tape under the folds in the mat kept the bumps down. The material quality is good but the tread size and edge straightness is not very good. Tread edges vary so that the space between the end of the stair and edge of the tread are not consistent. Also, these have a strong scent to them.In summary;Pros: Good quality materialCons; Poor packaging, strong scent and inconsistent wavy edges.
