I've wanted to publish this test report for a long time and only now got my hands on it. I would like to start by researching Tri-Ply Bonded cookware for three years before finally deciding to pull the trigger and give Cook's Standard a shot. For the money I spent I figured that if it didn't live up to the claims I wouldn't lose that much money and still be able to buy a super expensive set from something else. I'm not a chef, but I cook every day - from very simple eggs to very complex multi-pan dishes. I go from stove to oven and demand a lot from my cookware. I also want to say that I have some friends who have a more expensive brand and have been using them in all their kitchens for a long time, so I already knew exactly what I was looking for before I started this whole venture. Unfortunately, most of my friends who own more expensive brands don't really know how to use them. some of them totally messed her up. need my care and attention before I cook with them. π Well, I've been using these pans every day since I bought them. I actually threw away all my other pans. This pan set is amazing! Again I have used the brand mentioned and I think they are 100% as strong, reliable and beautiful as they are. Luckily, I know how to cook in stainless steel (and don't be fooled, it's unlike using regular everyday nonstick) so from day one these pans performed exactly how I've come to expect from a quality stainless steel set would steel pans. fulfill. I really like the weight of these pans. They're a hair's breadth (almost imperceptibly) lighter than the All-Clad, but heavier than, say, Sur La Table or Cuisinart. You really feel like you are in control when using these tools. In addition to this set, I completed my purchase and also bought a 12 inch pan with a lid. So now I have everything they do except wok. Quality dinnerware, no money for more expensive brands or just don't care about brand names, I say, buy this dinnerware and don't think about it. This is exactly how you should feel when you buy a good set of stainless steel pans. You have to know in your gut that these things will last you forever. I am very happy. I look forward to Cook's Standard expanding their range and you can bet I'll be one of the first in line to buy one of their new products.
