Very good quality and even cooking

I was so in love with this product it took me a year to even take it out of the box and use it. I recently moved to another state and brought this set out of the box. Very good quality and even cooking. I regret waiting so long to try them. You are beautiful as well. I don't want them to become cloudy and discolored but I have eliminated that now as I will be using them every day. They think they will last a very long time. I would have thought that the grips would get hot, but that hasn't…

They really do look and feel like a professional set

I ordered them and received them within two days, thanks Prime! As soon as you unpack it you can see the quality. They really do look and feel like a professional set. They are a good weight and the mirror finish is amazing! ADVANTAGES: heats up very quickly and retains heat. The lids are curved and fit under the actual rim of the pot. You look great! Looks very professional. The handles don't get hot (but the lids do). The pans have a certain weight, which helps heat transfer from electric…

very poor thermal conductivity as a result

I bought this rave based on numerous 4 and 5 star reviews. This set lives up to all visual cues, but is seriously lacking in performance. The aluminum core, the functional part of the pot, is very thin and therefore a very poor conductor of heat. This is the reason for such a low price (for SS mantle) and also why the manufacturer doesn't list the core thickness anywhere - unlike any other decent pot manufacturer. I went so far as to ask them about the thickness of this model on their Facebook…

LOVE MY NEW PANS for cookware sets

LOVE MY NEW PANS! I spent many days researching new pans before settling on this one. I switched our family from non-stick Calphalon due to health issues and didn't want to make the switch to cast iron right away. It's perfect. The handles don't get hot. I watched videos and read all about how to cook stainless steel WITHOUT STICKING AND BURNING. When people say SS stinks because it sticks and burns, they don't know how to use it. I never use medium heat. Never. Even then, I only use a full…

I've had this set for over 5 years now and I still love it!

Cook's Standard competed head-to-head with All Clad when I was looking for a new set. I chose this set because my Kalfalon was dying and I wanted something that would not fade over time. My sister has All Clad and it's expensive and she's fed up with the weight so my research brought me back to the Cooks standard. I bought this set and all the available items and have never regretted it - I also bought it as a gift. It's been five years and it's still perfect. The reviews that complain about…

Good quality dinnerware set

Quality cookware at a reasonable price. Lifting heavy and heavier to hang on our beautiful new oven mitts, but well worth it for the great look it brings to our kitchen. It has very strong walls. Love how well it works on our induction cooktop. Easy to clean with the right tools. You must use Bartender's Friend to ensure you wash everything with a synthetic cleaning pad. Not stainless steel; Scotch-Brite dishwashing sponges and their all-purpose versions. When I'm not using Bartender's Friend…

Very satisfied! on Kitchen & Dining

I've been using this set for almost a month now and am very happy with it so far. This is a beautiful set and I love that there is a lid that can be used with any pot. The pans have a good weight and look very well made. However, it took some getting used to. I did a lot of research before replacing my old scratched teflon pans and for me it was stainless steel or cast iron. I knew these two options would require more maintenance than I was used to giving cookware. In the end I decided on this…

Quality dishes for a housewife's price! Make no mistake!

I've wanted to publish this test report for a long time and only now got my hands on it. I would like to start by researching Tri-Ply Bonded cookware for three years before finally deciding to pull the trigger and give Cook's Standard a shot. For the money I spent I figured that if it didn't live up to the claims I wouldn't lose that much money and still be able to buy a super expensive set from something else. I'm not a chef, but I cook every day - from very simple eggs to very complex…
