Review on 📦 Polymaker Filament 1.75mm: Cardboard-Resistant 3D Printing Material by Seth Gomez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First time using ABS, ran better than expected

I've always avoided ABS since hearing about styrene emissions but after finding this ABS plastic in bulk I decided to give it a try . It smells slightly, but only if you put your nose to the printer when pushing through a lot of plastic (>10mm^3/s). I had no problem lifting the first layer or separating subsequent layers as many ABS stories tell. Running 260/100°C Heater/Primer 255/90°C later, very low fan (<10%) seemed to help melt overhangs on surface of small parts = Kapton tape thinned with elm/PVA glue then purple glue stick evaporated touch- high

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
