So I foolishly ignored the torque rating on my bike's drain plug the last time I changed the oil. Warning: Don't do this. When I pulled out the drain plug to replace it again, the threads came out with the plug. After my swearing subsided I bought this little kit to reverse the drain plug hole. It works exactly as advertised. You will need to purchase cutting oil and a faucet handle as neither is included. But once you have them, the drilling and tapping process works as it should and the repair spool screws in nicely. The kit includes a punch to break out the central protrusion in the Repair Spool, and several (apparently six?) Repair Spools of the size listed. The set is well made and easy to use.
