. but for that kind of money it cannot be with a larger aperture. ;) In general - a very, very good travel lens. The best, IMHO, of universal zooms. You have to get used to the vagaries of auto focus - mainly because the focal lengths are large and deviations of 1 degree already change the focus point. Once you get used to it, fall in love! ;) Also, it's REALLY BIG! ;) Suddenly big, if this is your first DSLR (I'm talking about myself;) and you saw a TV set only from afar. Due to its size + Nikon D5100 = I had to buy a new bag THREE sizes larger (LowePro 180 AW instead of 150). This camera fits perfectly - both in weight and in parameters. It fits perfectly in the hand - the weight of the lens adds even more "stability" to the already good stabilizer - shutter speeds up to 1/10 from hands without problems. If you are 184 cm tall and 96 kg, this is your choice. ;))) My wife (172/51) said that she would shoot whale 28-55, and this one is heavy. The choice is yours. An extremely positive lens - I recommend it to all beginners who have grown to the need for a telephoto - this is for you, beginners. ;) I'm the same as you. ;)
