Connecting to 371 or 571 series openers

Incredibly poor wiring guide for Mighty Mule TS571W (same as MM571W) - so confusing when it can be that simple. Here's the thing guys, if you have a Mighty Mule opener with terminal blocks as shown in the pictures, YOU DO NOT NEED the included lockout board (small board) or the included red and black wires. You ONLY need the white wire. It's easy: (Disclaimer - my opener is set to PUSH to open. I don't think it makes a difference - see instructions) 1. Turn off your knife2. Connect the RED lock wire to the LOCK V+ connector (6th from the left on my control board)3. Connect the BLACK lock wire to the LOCK-NO pin (4th from the left on my board)4. Using a 3" piece of WHITE PROPERTY wire (or any short piece of wire you like), connect (e.g. with a jumper wire) the LOCK C clamp (3rd from the left) to the LOCK V clamp (7th from right)5. Switching ON WARNING: If this doesn't work for you AND your gate PULLs open then I suggest you try connecting the black wire to the LOCK-NC terminal (6th from the left). I say try because I don't know, but you don't hurt if you try this.
