I like this docking station. I switched the display from laptop to plugable in two modes: with laptop USB-C to USB-C to plugable; and with a USB-AC adapter to a USB-C port of the connected device. Both worked great. I keep using the USB power adapter just because my HP Zbook laptop requires me to use an HP power adapter on a USB-C port. I connected 2 monitors to Plugable via HDMI ports, put them in extend mode for more screen workspace - I like the resolution, no flickering, very stable, just waking the computer from sleep - no problem. Using the laptop monitor as a third display in extended mode also worked. Finally, I use 4 more of the 6 USB 3.0 ports on the Plugable for a webcam, Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth mouse, and Bluetooth headset charging when needed. This plugable was the absolute best option for using the HDMI and USB 3.0 ports to my advantage at a great price!
