I have used these blades primarily with the Dewalt Max XR Multitool Cordless Multitool. The blades fit the tool perfectly and won't fall out if you worry about it. Metal blades cut very well. I've used bi-metal blades to cut some nails and screws without blunting them. Just like Dewalt's own blades. However, the HCS Wood blades seemed to dull a bit earlier than the Dewalt blades for me. I used them to cut out pieces of wood paneling including LP Smartside 76 for the shed. It seemed to cut the footage fairly well at first, but slowed down considerably fairly quickly. While even the used Dewalt blades I had would keep this cutting speed above the original. However you can see that the blades were still working on the cut I made in the siding (on the OSB side) by tilting the blade inwards. Incidentally, this gap should be the starting hole for the jigsaw blade. So for the price I can definitely recommend this knife set. With the higher price, I might be a little more worried about the faster wear of the wooden blades.
