Review on DHT Electronics 2pcs RF Coaxial Coax Adapter: SMA Male to BNC Female - Goldplated Connectors by Payton Stovall

When I was still working I had a guy who "modified" the hex bolt so I came up with something like this, just dug it out and saw a little bit of rust on the "lid". . I wanted something "nice" and made it the way I think it should have been done many years ago; but as you know "one size does NOT fit all". Listen again, I haven't used this yet, but I'm hoping for good results. Edit: 30th November 2016 Just an additional note, I finally got around to using one of these on my Yeasu FT2D portable radio which I received on 27th September 2016 (adapter). Although it "fits", there is one. The thing I noticed is that when screwing it on, the flat part that's supposed to rest on the radio case doesn't fit my radio. So if I were to use it I'd really like to have some sort of little spacer so the adapter is carried by the radio's body. It really works, I'm adding this note to anyone who can get this adapter to be aware and take the necessary steps so you don't use a heavy antenna and think it's supported for sure when it might not case is.
