Soft stone wears out but doesn't sharpen any of my knives
My knives are very hard steel and this stone doesn't touch them except for a cheap Chinese POS knife I have. It may be better to limit the use of Chinese stones on Chinese knives and ensure you use high quality stones on high quality knives. I usually avoid Chinese goods, but thought it might be possible to buy a whetstone, probably made in China; It's from China and you couldn't buy it. I REALLY want Revane to reveal which products come from China.
