I'm a techie and very impressed with this product. This adapter was connected to Lenovo Yoga 910 - 14 inch laptop.1. When plugged into the port we plug the charger into: LAN and HDD (no SSD, one with spinning HDD) worked simultaneously while the laptop was on battery power. I have a 200 Mbps internet connection and the speed drops to 235 Mbps (Time Warner cable).2. When connected to a display output: As above + the image on the LCD TV could be seen perfectly via the HDMI cable. LAN, hard disk and image function worked simultaneously. A must have as it serves multiple purposes with a single device. I haven't tested this on my Nexus 6P phone but will soon.
