Fulfills multiple purposes in one device

I'm a techie and very impressed with this product. This adapter was connected to Lenovo Yoga 910 - 14 inch laptop.1. When plugged into the port we plug the charger into: LAN and HDD (no SSD, one with spinning HDD) worked simultaneously while the laptop was on battery power. I have a 200 Mbps internet connection and the speed drops to 235 Mbps (Time Warner cable).2. When connected to a display output: As above + the image on the LCD TV could be seen perfectly via the HDMI cable. LAN, hard diskโ€ฆ

Works great, Dell monitors may not work well

Not the prettiest adapter but the nice thing is that this adapter offers something even Apple doesn't for a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 adapter This adapter offers connections VGA, HDMI, USB 3 and Ethernet in one. I have tested the USB 3, VGA and HDMI ports and they all work with the 2016 Macbook Pro Fall with Touch Bar and it works great. With VGA, on a 20" Dell monitor, I noticed that the color cast was a bit green, but not consistent. I hooked up a Panasonic HDTV via HDMI and VGA and the color wasโ€ฆ

Goodbye! Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I bought a new Lenovo Yoga 900 and like most new laptops it has a USB-C port and sometimes I need a gigabit ethernet and HDMI port so I searched for an adapter. I bought this product from Revain and have been using it for a week now and wanted to share my first impressions hoping it might help others.1. Worked great for about 2-3 months before the video output stopped working, but otherwise worked great.

I bought this in December 2016 for my boyfriend in the UK. I worked 3 months and the video output with HDMI and VGA stopped working. As the item was used in the UK and I'm in the US I couldn't figure out why there was no video and my non-technical friend struggled with the laptop display for 3 months before I was able to return to the UK a few months later . weeks ago and found that the device had died. I bought another device to get it working again. After I posted the above post, Cableโ€ฆ
