Goodbye! Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I bought a new Lenovo Yoga 900 and like most new laptops it has a USB-C port and sometimes I need a gigabit ethernet and HDMI port so I searched for an adapter. I bought this product from Revain and have been using it for a week now and wanted to share my first impressions hoping it might help others.1. The product is light, small and portable for my travels2. I used the USB, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet ports simultaneously for a 10 hour work day and it only got warm but not too hot to the touch.3. I tested the upload/download speed to compare gigabit ethernet performance with my laptop with built-in GigE port and found no difference. This is not a technical or scientific test, only rapid testing over several days has not confirmed any difference in performance.4. I know some reviewers have said they keep losing the ethernet signal. I disabled Wi-Fi on my Lenovo, forcing it to use the only wired GigE connection through this adapter, and there wasn't a single loss of signal or performance drop throughout the workday. When I tried this adapter on another laptop without Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Build 1607) installed, I saw a decrease in network performance. However, I don't have any performance issues on my Lenovo with the Anniversary Update installed. I could be wrong as, as I said, this is not a technical/scientific test, just my experience and possibly other factors that contributed. Lenovo Yoga 900. It should be noted that this adapter does not support incoming USB-C charging (there is no additional USB-C port for it) and this is not a problem for my Lenovo, but users with another new laptop might want to use it to investigate this.
