We have used this product on large open wounds first on our assigned dogs and then on ourselves. When a lynx cut our little terrier's shoulder from shoulder to shoulder and the wound was so open that the shoulder muscles were clearly visible, this product was prescribed for the wound. We used a gel as it applies more smoothly and doesn't fizz like you would with a spray. The open wound healed within six days and the hair grew back on his shoulders. Deep lynx bites on a terrier's thigh healed at the same time. Recently another of our terriers was attacked by a coyote with deep wounds on his neck and thighs. For some reason, the wound on the neck and several other wounds were sewn up, and local treatment was not prescribed. After experiencing the wonderful healing properties of Veterinus Derma Gel, we applied Derma Gel to this terrier's wounds. They healed within three days. Now it's available to humans.
