Review on 📏 Learning Resources Bucket Balance: Mass Measurement with 1g Sensitivity - Includes Buckets, Ages 3+ by Jane Cuperus

I ordered this scale for my 2 year old niece and nephew but found they didn't fit them at all. While I understand that the scale is intended for children over the age of 3, I do not think it is suitable for a child under the age of 6. First, the buckets of measured material fall off the base very easily. Second, if there is a significant weight difference between the two blades, the blades will not move very far. Because of this, children cannot determine the scale point. I was hoping that they would be able to put say 3 blocks on one side and 2 blocks on the other side and then see the 2 block side go up. This is not possible with this scale. The buckets are labeled in milliliters, which I think would be very helpful if the kids were learning the metric system in elementary school.
