I am very happy with this purchase

I bought this to see how it would work for closing small windows in my basement. I am very happy with this purchase. The material is thick and easy to work with, and the pattern looks better than the product photos here. I spent time installing it but it was worth it. It does let in a lot of light, but nothing can be seen, just movement and very blurry outlines. The attached photos show the exterior at night, a close-up of the film, and the interior by day. A few installation tips: 1) Clean the window thoroughly. This includes scraping off paint stains/stains or other materials with a razor. Anything on the window can cause a small bubble to appear in that area. 2) When creating multiple windows, remember that the pattern is repeated around the edges; In the end I cut out two corners and flip them over to keep the template. 3) Measure several times and carefully draw cutting lines on the backing paper with a ruler and felt-tip pen. Use really sharp scissors. Make no mistake by making it a little larger, then carefully trim the piece after checking the fit. My pieces were small enough that I could use a photo paper cutter to make them fairly accurate. 4) Using a spray bottle of water/soap is much better than a sponge or cloth. Be generous, just have something on hand to catch any drips in the finish. 5) After applying the film, also spray on the side of the film facing you, then squeeze out any bubbles from the center. Again, have the drop cloth ready.
