There is a small warning that this can only be used with original MagSafe cases and this is important to note. I bought a new navy blue iPhone 12 and a cheap thin clear plastic case to see the color. I was disappointed to find that this thin plastic cover alone was enough to dampen the charger's magnetic pull, and even the slightest bump on the road caused my phone to fall out of the case onto the car floor. Now I have a transparent case. with a small magnetic stripe all around, like the MagSafe configuration on the phone, and it sticks perfectly to the charger. These look like official Apple cases I believe, although I found mine from another seller on Revain for about half the price.
