I was confused by the plastic and metal connector. They are suitable for looping and connecting to the bungee itself, but not to anything substantial. When I attached a light load to my car rack, the plastic burst. I didn't use them to hold a load during a ride, just to hold onto an object while using stronger straps and they couldn't even do that. It broke when I hung it on the counter. I have several Nite Ize products that I am happy with. Here they are cheap.
