Fits 1989 Supra driver's side window

Bought to replace an original Toyota driver's side window regulator on my 1989 Supra. I installed it on an original power window and as other reviews have noted the mounting holes on this Dorman motor are unthreaded (not "threaded") which is annoying but you can always use a special one. Tool. First, make sure you have all of the original screws from your old power window, and second, set the motor aside, disconnect it from the regulator, then carefully insert one of the original screws into one of the holes and start screwing in. You have to keep the screw nice and straight and use some force initially, but the screw will start to dig in and cut the hole itself, meaning it will create its own thread. Do this for the other two holes, then remove the screws and THEN place the motor onto the ESC. I also had an issue where the window moved in the opposite direction when I clicked the switch, but that was easy. also fix. At least for the connector that Dorman supplies for Toyota, they use a type that allows you to easily swap the black and red wires. You just need a small flat head screwdriver to pry the white plastic tab away from the wire conduit and then you can slide it out of the fork. Do the same for the other wire, then plug it back into the opposite sockets and after that your window should rise and fall as expected when the appropriate switch is pressed. As for the overall performance of the Dorman motor, the sound is okay and it moves the window up and down at a reasonable speed - not too fast and not too slow. I'm a little worried about durability and would almost like to use a rebuilt Cardone engine (as I believe it's a rebuilt Toyota engine) but I'll give Dorman a try and see how it performs.
