Elastic band holds four crayons very neatly. If you want to pack a lot of pens for an art trip, this works great. Very nice design. Practical carrying handle. Attractive and beautiful zipped pocket on the outside. The only downside is when the pencil gets short it's a bit harder to get it out of the elastic holders. (As an extra tip, I've found that McDonald's straws make good pin extenders, so you can pull these short pins right out of the elastic and cut the straws to the length you want. Our local McDonald's generously provides straws for their artist customers (Please note that straw width may vary from store to store.)
