Fast and beautiful: Car Video

Note: I check updates for this main unit - click "Details" to see all updates. This is an awesome Android head unit. I never thought of installing Android in my Toyota Tundra but this radio looks so beautiful and incredibly fast, I'm glad I did. / splicing / soldering wires (but you need to contact them before purchasing so they can give you the right canbus). Just plug everything in and you're good to go. If there hadn't been an issue with my aftermarket camera (no fault of Dasaitas), I could have installed it in less than 30 minutes. I will say that the 10.2 inch screen for viewing my rear camera is AMAZING. Now I can easily connect my hitch to the trailer receiver. The best part is the Dasaitas Apple CarPlay Dongle. I'm an Apple guy and I love CarPlay on long trips and the key they sold me played it perfectly. Also the sound in my JBL equipped truck sounded much better! All in all a great radio and a great update for outdated tech in the 11/26/2019 Tundra update: if people are ever wondering if I still love it or not, I still do! It works without any problems and with the new IOS 13.2.2 update, Carplay is even better! I will say that the frame rate/smoothness of Carplay isn't that great when you first turn it on, but once it loads the full display it's fast and responsive again. The sound is still amazing, much better than JBL. I would buy it again anytime, maybe even for my 2014 Scion tC! Update 4/8/2020: Well, it didn't even take a year. I got into my Tundra last night and while everything was working (screen/carplay/headlights etc) there was no sound from anything. The microphone and Siri could still hear me, but no sound came back. I contacted Dasaita as they say they have a 12 month warranty on their products (on their official website). I will update this review to indicate if they actually honor their 12 month warranty. Disappointed. Update 05/07/2020: After a long exchange of information between me and Dasaita (MCU updates / OS updates / etc.) it was determined that the mainboard has failed. They sent me a new motherboard and as soon as it arrived from China I installed it. Sound works great again. Installation wasn't easy, but it wasn't difficult either. I would put it on the same level as building a computer from scratch. I had to remap the steering wheel buttons and couldn't get the onscreen buttons to work, but after Dasaita sent me a tutorial video, I realized I was trying to map them incorrectly. So they delayed the end of the warranty and I got my amazing head unit 100% back.
