I first bought this remote from a home theater installer in San Diego about 6 years ago. I had to replace it because the RF wasn't working (the internal antenna was internally weakened) from years of my kids throwing it around. Luckily the IR still worked and I had time to buy a new one from the North Coast Home Theater (NCHT). The first remote I ordered from NCHT was damaged upon arrival. It's not NCHT's fault and when I emailed them about the situation, they sent me another remote control within 3 days. Your customer service was excellent. As for the remote, newer versions of these remotes can no longer be programmed using the software you find on the internet. As a result, I had to call my local authorized Universal Remote home theater installer to transfer the software from my old remote to my new one. They have an updated version that syncs with the new remotes. Therefore, when purchasing this product, allow for an additional fee to your local Universal Remote Eros Authorized Home Theater Dealer. Unfortunately, Universal Remote does not offer the program online or with its products. The remote control itself is great. Everything works great and I am very satisfied.
