Review on 🔴 EAG D-Ring Shackles with Mount, Red D-Rings, Black Isolators, and Mount Brackets, Pair by Sean Sheppard

I bought two sets of these staples. The first set didn't last when I had to use them. The welds between the bracket and the steel plate have come loose. On inspection, the welds had ZERO penetration. I think that's completely inadequate. The second set held up much better, but the plate is too thin for the advertised weight and, depending on the mount, flexed so much that I felt unsafe. I had to cut the bracket off the plate and weld it to the new 1/2" plate in several passes. If you don't intend to use these brackets, they look great and won't rust. If you plan on using these brackets, do not this.
