I was looking for a smaller pan for baking lasagna, brownies, cakes etc. Unless you have a large family, use a standard size pan. the casserole dish for all of this just leaves too much residue. This dish goes well with all of that. It's durable but not too heavy. So easy to clean, even burnt bits. Deep bowl so spillage is not a problem. And such a beautiful blue. I'm considering buying another one so I can pop it in the oven and make more holiday dishes at the same time. You will not be disappointed.
