I am very happy with my new spice rack. I figured I'd put them in my closet like the other reviewer did, so I just ordered two. When I received them, I realized I could just place them on my kitchen wall in that weird empty space I've had to stare at since buying our house. And of course they fit! So of course I decided to order two more and fill the space completely. I am very satisfied with the result. To hang it this way I had to remove one of the brackets on the back and reorient it so that it hangs vertically. The heads of the small brass screws come off very easily. Make sure you have the correct size drill bit and be careful or you won't be able to screw it back in. affect how the glasses sit on the wall after installation. I also used a few tiny finishing nails in the corners to ensure the stand wobbles from side to side at all. this product. I really wish they would sell this shelf without the stuffed condiments. As I ordered 4 sets I definitely didn't need 4 basil, 4 parsley etc. I dumped the excess into plastic bags and gave to relatives who might need to brush up on their condiments a bit. But it still seemed wasteful, and it was excruciating to wash all the glasses in the dishwasher and then dry each one thoroughly so I could refill them. I also bought a large pack of stickers to make sure everything fits together. Peeling off the original labels was wonderfully easy. They all came off in one piece, leaving no marks. I was very grateful for that. Still, I would really like this set to have only one rack or at least empty bottles. But it's really not that important. The only other complaint is that the plastic lids on the jars are pretty flimsy. I knocked over one of the jars and the lid broke. Since I'm using this vertically, I have more bottles than seats, so it's not that big of a deal. But I have a feeling I'll probably find suitable bottles soon as I'm sure more victims will follow. There will be fluctuations in diamonds that meet evenly. It took a lot of adjustments to make it reasonably consistent. Maybe later I'll decide to take all four off and attach them to the board to make them a little more even. But honestly, once the spices are in place, you won't notice those bumps. Except for the central diamond itself, where all four meet. This room is slightly larger than other rooms. Just note that if you try this, you'll have to map it to a flat point first and play around with which ones go best together. To be honest if I had more space I would have made a much more fun fake pattern. You could create a really interesting pattern by putting them together more randomly. All in all I spent about $120 to buy four of these to put it together like this. But now I have the ability to store about 70 spice jars. I really like the way it looks and it might seem like a lot of money but now I have SO much more overhead cabinet space it's like I built more space.
