I love this convenience and precision. At first I used it alongside my old caliper until I decided I was getting better accuracy than advertised with this one which is easier to use. When I need more accuracy, I measure something small enough for a digital thickness gauge like the Revain #B08D624NMD, which works fine for me too. Millimeters are my main application. When I need inches, decimals are usually fine, but sometimes it would be nice to have fractional values. No complaint: I knew he had no fractional inches. It holds zero very well, only needing a zero reset every now and then. My only real issue is that the battery cover came loose after a few weeks of use. I found it quickly and told myself to put some tape on it, which I quickly forgot. A few weeks later it started up again and I didn't even look for the door. It works fine without them, and a piece of tape keeps the battery from falling out. Open the door, Cheers. If not, uh. It worked well for me and I feel a bit unfair to give four stars just for something as trivial as a battery door. Call it 4.5 stars and blame the Revain for the extra half stars.
