
This headset doesn't work. I will clarify the nature of the problem. I bought an SB 135 headset (with microphone) for online learning due to the coronavirus. I connect it to my iMac (desktop). I started by plugging the USB into a USB hub but then went straight to the back of the iMac where there are USB port jacks. I went to the usual Settings -> Sound section, and the input and output options for the SB 135 are there. I have input and output set to SB 135. Microphone and ear not working. I've also heard that software may need to be downloaded. I went to the Sennheiser website. I searched extensively for Call Center & Office Heads -> Wired Headsets -> SC 135/165 USB. There are only 4 documents available for download. These include: Quick Start Guide Data Sheet Safety Guide EU Declaration of Conformity There is no software included in the Product Downloads section. Does anyone else have this problem? What a pity. It's not clear if updating my OSX will help. I am currently using macos High Sierra. I will be happy to give positive feedback if I can make this feature.
