Works great. The transmitter sits in a metal switch box outside and the receiver works perfectly in my two-story, 4,000-square-foot home. Does exactly what it advertises, what it does. The design and feel of the receiver is pleasant. One complaint: the backlight stopped working on the 2nd day. Don't worry because there is no backlight, which means the batteries will last much longer. I can still read the display, just not in the dark. i still love him Now I'm buying another one to read my sub panel (is powered by the main panel, but with two devices I can control both the main panel and the sub panel separately. You can also connect it to any pair of switches you want to monitor assuming , You want to know how much your washing machine or other 120V or 240V appliance uses.
