Great product, I found a video on YouTube that helps with setup, it was a lot easier than instructions! ten degrees below the actual temperature you need. Why? Because the heating element determines how long it stays hot! In other words, if you want to heat to 170F to prevent exceeding it, you may need to set the SV to 160-165 depending on the heating element. Then set (HD) Heat Difference to compensate for the cooling of the heating element! In one pan 3 degrees, in the other 10 degrees, the first was a slow cooker, the second a cheese warmer! So check it out before you need it! I just filled it with tap water to see how it works! Works perfectly! I now have digital control for all my electric kitchen utensils! Fantastic, there's also a 15 amp version for heavier jobs like fridges! But this one is more for countertop appliances!
