Neither my husband nor I have ever installed a bed height adjuster. We bought an RV last summer and saw the need to install a heavy duty bed lift to access the storage space below. We usually base our purchasing decisions on product reviews and I have to admit that there have been some negative reviews. However, my husband liked the positive reviews that were offered, so we decided to give it a try. In the end we are VERY happy with the result! If you follow the instructions carefully and correctly (i.e. following the exact dimensions to place the hatch lifts in exactly the right place) there will be no problems.
