Not for scaffolding!
If using for #9 gauge wire(scaffolding work) it will cut but with more force required than the "high leverage" mechanism proposes. Additionally that mechanism forces the handles to open so wide you will not be able to operate it with one hand. Craftsman is not the quality product it used to be. Spend a little more and get something better.
- I am always pleased with Craftman tools. They are sturdy, easy to hold and last a long time.
