Hard to work with for my opinion

It felt like an old rusty pair of cutters! Doesnt want to open or close without unnecessary force, needs to have better grease

Pros
  • Love the way they cut and they are easy to hold. My go to pliers
Cons
  • They are to heavy. Hard to squeeze.

For $6 More you can get better quality US Made Channellocks

I've handled these in the past and they scream "made in china". For literally $6 more, you can buy a set of Channellock 338 pliers that will probably last you a lifetime.

Pros
  • Ok good for the money
Cons
  • Not compound!

Not for scaffolding!

If using for #9 gauge wire(scaffolding work) it will cut but with more force required than the "high leverage" mechanism proposes. Additionally that mechanism forces the handles to open so wide you will not be able to operate it with one hand. Craftsman is not the quality product it used to be. Spend a little more and get something better.

Pros
  • I am always pleased with Craftman tools. They are sturdy, easy to hold and last a long time.
Cons
  • Pliers stick one hand operation very hard
