Review on Giro Rumble VR Mountain Bike Shoes for Men by Jacob Leon

I bought this shoe thinking it would be like a regular hiking shoe but a little stiffer and spiked. But what I got was a shoe with an insole so hard it felt like standing on molded plastic. And at least in my case, it doesn't even feel like they were created to support the foot. The heel is completely flat instead of concave to support the heel like a regular shoe. There is no bow support at all. The front of the insole is higher on the sides and lower in the middle, making the whole foot feel uncomfortable. If I stood in it for more than 5-10 minutes I would have to take it off. I just don't understand how they could design the entire shoe perfectly but completely throw away the ergonomics of the part of the shoe you actually stand on. Other than that, they're not too bad as riding shoes. If you put them on just before the trip and take them off immediately afterwards, the impressions are bearable. The rest of the shoe apart from the insole works well. It looks like a regular shoe for those who don't know any better.
