I didn't rate it for gaming because I don't yet have a graphics card to run a 4K monitor at good speeds, but for everything else it looks great for the money. I work a lot these days so I don't have any free time, I'd love to play around and set things up this way and I've found that with these new displays there are little hurdles and speed bumps along the way if you really want to USE all the mods, that market keywords such as HDR, Freesync, G-Sync, High Frame Rate or FALD (Full Array Local Dimming). I haven't figured it all out yet, and the documentation and interface isn't exactly intuitive if you've never had to set it up, activate it, and work it properly in real life. You don't just have to "plug in and enjoy all the glory" β you need to make sure you have the right combination of hardware, cables, drivers, and settings for all devices and peripherals to take full advantage of these new features. But the crystal clear and beautiful 4K picture works almost straight out of the box, and at this price point it's even worth it. Very few adjustments are needed to get very realistic colors compared to my old Dell calibrated setup. I didn't even have to delve into the Windows color calibration tool to get it close enough to what I prefer in my lighting environment for my photos to look almost the same as in real life when I originally took the images. . I don't even feel bad for not using a hardware calibration tool. While I have not yet assembled all of these parts to take advantage of all the features and capabilities of this monitor, I am already happy with my purchase even if I never take the time to get everything up and running for peak performance. That's a damn good buy. I've even considered buying another one or two to replace my old 1080P monitor and at least one of my work monitors in the office because of the value for money. The only reason I haven't is so I can get a job to buy one or two for this, and back home I'm planning on getting one of the best 4K G-Sync monitors with quantum dots as my main monitor . /gaming monitor after I upgraded my system to push 4K really well and it seems silly to buy a perfectly good monitor that I can only use for a few months. They're too good to waste and unfortunately I don't have room on my desk for a three-monitor setup, otherwise it wouldn't be difficult.
