I have had problems with power mirrors since I bought a used truck a few years ago. I thought the mirror motors were the problem as only 1 or 2 directions, like up and left, would work on one of the power mirrors, but the other worked fine for about a year and then started to fail as well. After doing some research on a 1999 F250 Super Duty, I found that many people assumed problems like mine were just a power mirror switch. I thought that due to the low price of the switch, it was worth trying. I ordered a Dorman switch, received it within 2 days, pulled out the old switch and installed this in about 5 minutes. The fit and look was OEM and it worked! Both electric mirrors worked great. It couldn't be easier, I wish I had done it a year ago.
