First reaction is that the bristle discs are fine - functionally equivalent to a 3m product. But - - - buyers should be aware of two possible issues with this product: 1. The color coding does not match 3M. The description in the Revain ad defines the granularity for each of the colors.2. The description says the kit comes with 6 - 5mm (1/8") mandrels. I had six mandrels but only three were 1/8"; the other three were the smaller 3/32" mandrels, which are also a standard size. The idea of having a mandrel for each grit makes a lot of sense, but very cumbersome when you need to change collets. I managed it by I installed a smaller mandrel with finer wheels - I think I'll usually use a coarse grit (up to 220) before switching to a grinding wheel so I don't have to deal with changing collets.
