I wish I bought it a year ago. I love my dog but she has hearing problems. She is very smart but would rather run away than follow directions. We've been using this collar for about a week now and our communication style has changed statically. You no longer have to raise your voice or chase after it to get it in. Basically, I use the horn function to get their attention before the command. Sometimes I send her a vibration when she's not listening. I only had to use the electrical function 4 times and only at very low levels. Please note - make sure you start very low (1-2). I have an 85 lb dog and she was really scared the first time she was 2 years old. It's at 5 now, but when I turned it on, it was the 80s. Please check before using this part. Good product. I just want you to buy another collar. This keeps loosening and I have to tighten it every day. I also wish the remote had a belt clip - I don't have pockets on my shorts so I have to hand carry them or put them on the floor.
