Only used to change the oil in the car. Worked like a champ. I was able to remove all of the oil through the dipstick tube about as quickly as through the oil pan bolt. Saved me the hassle of jacking the car up to get under it and the cost of replacing the drain plug (plastic and not reusable). When I put new oil in it needed the amount specified for my engine so I know it was removed. all old oil. It comes with three sizes of rigid tubing to fit the probe tube and a piece of flexible tubing long enough to place the vacuum bottle on the floor. That's even enough for my pickup truck. The vacuum pump is mounted on top of the vacuum bottle, so the oil stays well in the pump. The blue spout you have to use to empty the bottle is a joke. , the oil did not flow out well at the point of contact with the bottle. I took it off and cast it through a threaded hole which worked fine. Save yourself the mess and skip the spout, you don't need it. In the end, this thing made an easy and quick job of being finicky and messy. I won't go back to the old one.
