I'm one of the few on my block that still has BB7s on some bikes. Why? Well they didn't fall apart, for gravel racing they are more than strong enough and if you use a 180mm rotor up front I don't find them significantly less strong than sub $200 jet skis. My townsman and exercise bike both have BB7s so I have a stack of these unbranded pads. They work pretty well. My only complaint is when things get nasty. Sludge slime attacks these pillows very quickly. Did two 100 mile races this summer. Each time there was wet porridge. At the end of the second stage the pads were gone. Beware of manure. Otherwise they are great.
