Great pads for cycling

They worked great on my Avid Juicy brakes. Very easy to install but I'm a mechanic so I already knew what I was doing. You can buy more expensive pads, but this is not necessary. The price is right and you get 2 sets. Worth every penny. Great company to buy and support. Had a question and they were quick with an answer and solution.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Not impressed Sport

I tried these disc brake pads because they were available and not as expensive as the big brand pads. They were easy to fit and stopping power was good, but after the second ride they started to squeak badly. I removed them and cleaned all surfaces but that didn't help. I replaced them with a branded set after a few rides and have had no problems since.

Great for learning rear wheel riding

I had metal pads. after doing some research. Metal pads can wear out longer, they hit the rotor so hard that it's difficult to modulate the wheelies by hand. These pads grip softer. and they are quieter than metal pads. They wear out a little quicker than metal ones. I can't express it in miles though. Ever since I learned wheelies, I've been hitting the brakes all the time. after 20 minutes of exercise every day for a year. it's a little over half

Nice and quiet for brake pads

They were relatively easy to fit but the calipers probably needed adjustment after fitting. If you know what you are doing it will take 5 minutes, if not you should ask for help. I installed, then took a ride, everything seemed fine for 20 miles, then on the next ride they squeaked for 80 miles before calling a pro for help and fixed them in a minute since I hadn't adjusted the caliper and Only the corner had friction that caused the squeak. After adjustment they were smooth for the next 70…

CHECK BB7! in Parts & Components

I'm one of the few on my block that still has BB7s on some bikes. Why? Well they didn't fall apart, for gravel racing they are more than strong enough and if you use a 180mm rotor up front I don't find them significantly less strong than sub $200 jet skis. My townsman and exercise bike both have BB7s so I have a stack of these unbranded pads. They work pretty well. My only complaint is when things get nasty. Sludge slime attacks these pillows very quickly. Did two 100 mile races this summer…

I ride a 15 year old Canondale Rush 3 with Juicy brakes. I've been using original pads for years, but I recently tried them and was blown away by the performance. These pads provide a softer feel at your fingertips. I do some pretty extreme mountain work on hard ground with loose rock and sand - this is a standard Southern California road that has power lines running through mountain areas. These pads were excellent on this surface and made my ride more fun overall as I felt very confident…

They do not fit Avid Juicy 7

ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ATTENTION! They are NOT suitable for Avid Juicy 7s. There are several problems with them. 1) The 2 small flanges on the back plate of the brake pads are the wrong size. You blink too much. So much so that they didn't "snap" into the spring retainer on top of my caliper assembly. I had to file them with a metal file to "snap into place". After I finally ground the flanges to fit, 2) the square hole on the back of the pads wasn't deep enough for the caliper (it has a 'post'…
