I have seen this before and also used the variant. I thought it was kinda cool, but I didn't really want to. Mainly because they seemed too expensive and bulky. When I received it my first thought was to use it in my home entertainment system. I connected a USB hub to my Fire TV Stick with an Ethernet adapter because it's faster. Anything mounted to the ceiling would allow me to remove it by moving the hub. It's not even visible because all the wires run in the channel and I can connect a hard drive to it in another place. I didn't because I had to set up a video conference and the USB cable died. I'm glad it happened because it showed me how versatile this system is. It works with my OBSBOT webcam which automatically follows the moderator. I can have a microphone nearby, even USB audio for headphones. The main module is powered by USB. I fasten it with velcro. The remote box needs 5 V. It is so compact that I can mount it next to the webcam with the Supergrip using a smartphone clip with a tripod screw. super easy. I've been using this for a few weeks now and have never had any problems. Plugs need some lapping. Initially, I had trouble inserting the connectors, resulting in no connection because I hadn't fully inserted them. I used the oldest ethernet cables I could find, including an unused line from a former ISP, and it worked. Important to know: This is NOT a network device! DO NOT connect it to an Ethernet network. It only connects between two transmitters. I really like this product and will buy at least one more pair. Sounds weird, it's a USB extension cable, but it would be great if the power connector was a micro USB (or USB-C) instead of a DC plug. This allows you to connect power for truly autonomous operation. Of course there are adapters, but there is always a cable for charging a smartphone somewhere. In addition, using a 3A USB charger saves some hardware. I would highly recommend this extension cable to anyone who needs to connect USB devices over long distances. Especially for installations where the camera needs some space. It's just that an ethernet cable is a lot easier to manage than hard and expensive USB extension cables. Took some photos. Hope this helps with the decision. PROS AND CONS+ Compact and lightweight+ Metal body+ Brackets included (THANK YOU!)+ Stable connection even with questionable cables+ Two-way radio works as a 4-port hub+ Two-way radio only requires 5V and can be powered by a power bank or USB charger (requires adapter) - Open case with air vents - Same color status and power LEDs - Walwart included because in 2021 it's still not possible to design a smaller power supply that doesn't block, at least on another outlet - host -Box requires USB power to operate.

Pros
  • Note --- Allocate four USB2.0 ports. Two webcams work at the same time. A NOTICE. When connecting two webcams, it is strongly recommended to use the Webcam XP Pro software.
Cons
  • Available in black only.
