These shorts are perfect for wearing under skirts. They are SUPER see through (transparent) so I wouldn't recommend wearing them just as cycling shorts but if you do make sure you have underwear because you can see everything. Since they are very transparent, they won't last too long if your child wears them a lot. But they are still worth the amount you get. I wish they were less transparent but they got the job done.
