The water tastes great, the filter snaps in snugly and filters surprisingly quickly, but that's where my praise ends! The lid is not attached to the pitcher, it just sits on top and falls off as you pour, causing water to spill everywhere unless you hold the lid tight as you pour. But you'll only know that after you've spilled water all over the place and cursed a bit at the mess it's about to wreak. I would not recommend a jug of this size for children, seniors or those with minimal upper body strength as it is heavy when full and you have to hold the lid open to avoid spilling. I think given the complex ergonomics of this jug I wouldn't recommend this size at all. I also think that given the price they are charging this pitcher, they should fix this apparent design flaw. Generally not satisfied.
