Review on 🚗 Alpine SPE-5000 5.25" 2-Way Car Speakers - 200W Peak / 50W RMS (Pair) by Brad Ward

Purchased to replace a weaker non-OEM Pioneer speaker set in the front doors of a 2011 Mazda 3. Upgrade was required after adding a 50W x 4ch amplifier behind the dash; the pioneers could only work with 35 watts RMS. These baddies, combined with the upgraded JBL kit on the rear, sound absolutely phenomenal, especially when compared to the stock radio (which probably puts out 8 watts per channel) and crappy stock speakers. The head unit (also a Pioneer) put out around 14 watts but with the new amp they get 65 watts RMS each - these speakers do a great job when it comes to handling the power! Easy installation after opening the door; Got these instead of the three way speakers as the tweeter is physically separate and placed higher up the door jamb. All in all a great purchase and highly recommended. These melodies have never sounded so sweet!
